Getting the right PETG for your job

Every order starts with the application. A sign panel for a shop in Claremont has very different needs from a prototype part for a workshop in Parow, so we ask about size, thickness, finish and where the material will be used. That helps us advise on sheet selection and filament suitability before cutting or packing.

If you are unsure whether you need a full sheet, a panel cut or small batch work, send through the measurements and the use case. We can talk through indoor use, outdoor exposure, coastal humidity in areas like Somerset West and Stellenbosch, and whether the job needs a protective film left on for handling.

Cut-to-size support from our Epping team

Our support team handles straight cuts, custom sizing, strip cutting, panel cutting and hole marking. We also do edge deburring where a cleaner finish is needed, which is useful for display work, fabrication parts and pieces that will be handled often.

  • Small batch cutting for repeat jobs
  • Large batch cutting for production runs
  • Film left on for cleaner transport and installation
  • Job labelling so parts stay matched

For collection in Epping, Montague Gardens, Bellville, Parow, Somerset West, Paarl, Stellenbosch or Claremont, we can prepare the order with the cut list and mark each piece clearly. That saves time on site and reduces mix-ups.

Filament help for printers and workshop use

When you need filament, we help you choose the right format for your printer and project. If your team prints in a workshop with load-shedding back-up, or runs longer print cycles after hours, it is worth checking spool size, storage and the settings you use most often.

We can discuss practical points like nozzle temperature, bed adhesion and part strength, especially when the print must hold up under daily use. If you are printing test pieces, fixtures or presentation models, we will help you match the material to the outcome you want.

Courier packing and nationwide delivery support

Filament is couriered nationwide, and our packing process is set up to keep orders secure in transit. Sheets are packed with care to help reduce corner damage, scratching and movement inside the parcel. For larger jobs, we will advise on the safest packing method before dispatch.

  • Courier packing for local and out of town deliveries
  • Order labelling for multi-part jobs
  • Practical packing advice for fragile cuts
  • Clear dispatch notes for receiving teams

If your site has limited receiving hours, or you are sending material to a project in another town, let us know early so we can plan the handover properly.

Who you will speak to

Our support line is handled by a working team at our base in Epping, Cape Town. Morne van Rensburg leads the business, with Ayanda Mkhize on sales, Jared Petersen overseeing production, Zanele Ndlovu leading customer support, Ruan Botha handling cutting, and Tumi Molefe coordinating logistics.

That means the person who helps you can usually point you to the right next step, whether it is sizing, stock handling or collection planning. We keep the process practical and straightforward, with clear feedback if a drawing, measurement or finish note needs attention.

How to send your enquiry

The quickest way to reach us is through the enquiry form on our contact page. Include the measurements, quantity, material type and the town or suburb for collection or delivery. If you are ordering for a site with access limits, mention that too so we can plan the handover.

Helpful details to include:

  • Sheet size or filament quantity needed
  • Cut list or drawing if available
  • Collection point or courier destination
  • Any hole marking, deburring or film requirements

Once we have the details, we can respond with the next practical step and keep the job moving.
